Beirut - "East Harlem-Single"

After what feels like an interminably long break to learn all the tricks and trades of an Emergency Medical Technician, the other half of the Galley is back. And without much fanfare, though he deserves as much as possible, so is Zach Condon.
Last week Beirut released a two-song single that complements their substantial catalogue so far and continues to build on frontman and brain Condon's exceedingly unique taste. If anything, the two songs are even more accessible than previous work by the group, all the while maintaining those goddamn excellent horn melodies. All around superb stuff. Give it a listen.
